Day 1: Outdoor Movie Night

Since the drive-in movie period has sadly passed its prime, options for enjoying a flick under the stars are few.  During the 50's, there were as many as 70 outdoor cinemas in Oregon alone.  Ninety percent of those cinemas have since gone "dark."

But there is good news for those of us in the northwest!  A small handful of outdoor cinemas in Oregon and Washington still have their lights on.  And we should help keep them on, while having ourselves an enjoyable, historical throwback of a time, no?  According to research, the closest operating drive-in to those of us in the Portland metropolitan area is the

Admission to the drive-in:
$8.00 per adult, $5.00 per child ages 6-11, and free for children under 6. For cars with a single occupant, the entry fee is $12.00.
